How Long Does a 19L Water Bottle Last? A Guide for Families of 2 and 5
How long one 19L bottle lasts for a household of 2 or 5 in Karachi: illustrative estimates, what changes them and how to choose a weekly or monthly plan.
Keep bottles in a cool, shaded place, leave the seal on until the bottle goes into the dispenser, clean the dispenser regularly and lift with your legs. Most problems with bottled water come from the dispenser and handling, not the bottle.

Choose a cool, shaded spot away from direct sunlight, stoves, heaters and the hot side of a refrigerator. Keep bottles upright on a clean, dry surface, off the floor if you can.
Wash your hands before you touch the neck of a bottle. Remove the seal only when you are ready to load the bottle, not earlier. A bottle left open for days in a warm room is not the same as a fresh one.
The dispenser is the part most people forget. Wipe the tap and the area where the bottle sits often, and clean the inside following the maker's instructions. If it has not been cleaned in a long time, do it before loading a new bottle. Water can only be as clean as what it passes through last.
A full 19L bottle is a heavy load. Bend your knees, keep the bottle close to your body and ask for help if you are unsure. In an office, decide who changes bottles so it is not left to whoever is nearby. Keep the floor around the dispenser dry.
Keep empties upright and capped in one place, so they are easy to hand over at the next delivery. Because we run a bottle exchange, empties go back with the delivery and the exchange shows up in your WhatsApp update. More on that in bottle exchange and deposit explained.
If you often have many spare full bottles sitting around, you may be ordering too many. A smaller, more regular order is easier to store. Use this method to right-size it.
Order on WhatsApp and we deliver Monday to Saturday.
